Gorakhpur, Gorakhpur, India, Uttar Pradesh, our journey begins with
a visit to the Gorakhnath Temple, located in Gorakhpur. The city
derives its name from Shri Gorakhnath Ji, a saint of the Nath
Sampraday. Following our visit to the temple, we proceed towards
Sonauli, which is approximately 98 km from Gorakhpur. From there, we
head to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. After exploring
Lumbini, we continue our journey to Chitwan, where we have the
opportunity to enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance program. We
conclude the day with an overnight stay at a hotel.
We will wake up early in the morning, around 6 am, and embark on a
jungle safari and elephant safari. After the safari, we will return
to the hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast, we will drive to
Kathmandu, with a stop en route to visit the Manakamana Temple. The
temple is situated approximately 108 kilometers from Manakamana.
Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will spend the night at a hotel.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and freshen up for a day
of sightseeing. Begin by visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu
temple dedicated to Lord Pashupati, situated in Kathmandu. Next,
explore the Guhjeshwari Temple, another revered holy site in
Kathmandu. Then, proceed to Buddhanath, one of Nepal's largest
spherical stupas. After Buddhanath, head to Buddhanilkanth, also
known as Sleeping Vishnu, located in Kathmandu district of Bagmati
province. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Swayambhunath, a
significant tourist attraction in Kathmandu, situated in the heart
of the city. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a hotel.
We begin our journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara and continue onwards
to the lakeside city of Pokhara. The route to Pokhara predominantly
traverses through mountainous terrain, offering scenic views of
numerous mountain-top villages along the way. Upon arrival in
Pokhara, we will check into our hotel for our stay.
Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast and prepare for your
sightseeing tour. You can start by visiting Phewa Lake, the largest
lake in Pokhara, offering reflections of nearby white mountains on
its surface. Explore Talbarahi Temple, a Hindu temple situated at
the center of the lake. Next, visit Bindhyabasini Temple, the oldest
temple in Pokhara city. Enjoy a picturesque view of the Seti River.
Don't miss the opportunity to witness Devis Waterfall, originating
from the Pardi Khola Stream and disappearing underground. Lastly,
explore Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave Temple, located near Devis Falls.
Conclude the day with an overnight stay at your hotel.
We indulge in adventurous activities such as paragliding, ultralight
flight, and bungee jumping, before returning to Pokhara. After our
thrilling experiences, we head back to the hotel for an overnight
stay.
We will drive to Pokhara, making a stop at Lumbini, the birthplace
of Lord Buddha, which is situated 195 km away from Pokhara. After
our visit to Lumbini, we will spend the night at our hotel in
Bhairahawa.
On the last day of our journey, after breakfast, we will drive
towards Gorakhpur. We will drop you off near the station or airport,
leaving you with sweet memories of the trip.
